Sci fi

Things are busy in the old word processor. Gotta focus, gotta finish, gotta get more editing done in two weeks than I have done in the last two months! Thanks to everyone who has been working their rears off for my! Here’s an image that describes the project. I love scifi. I may not have read Foundation yet, and I know I’m not supposed to admit that, but I love scifi. What’s your fave sci-fi film? I’m in a toss up between 2001: A Space Odessy and Contact. They share more than just the genre. The questions of awareness, acceptance, self-limiting and definitions of intelligence abound. Both films were so well acted. These are just a couple great examples. Now I’m going to take a stab at the exulted genre! But if it doesn’t have someone pushed out an airlock will I know it’s sci fi?  A long time ago, a teacher would not accept a book report on Ursula LeGuin’s Left Hand of Darkness. He said I needed to branch out. I was into my sci fi that I didn’t realize that the Octavia Butler books I read were not general fiction. So here’s to sci-fi! May I do justice to the genre.
